Past Life & Karma
Who you were, the karma you carry and the lesson this life asks of you, read from the lunar nodes, Saturn, Chiron and the numbers in your name and birth date.
What karmic astrology reads
Evolutionary or karmic astrology treats the birth chart as a record of where a soul is coming from and where it is heading. The axis of the lunar nodes is its backbone: the South Node describes what you bring in, talents that come naturally and habits that feel safe but hold you back; the North Node, exactly opposite, points to the direction of growth in this life.
What you'll discover
- Your past-life archetype, told as a story from your South Node and 12th house
- The karmic baggage you brought into this life, and the comfortable patterns worth letting go
- Your soul's mission from the North Node, by sign and house
- Your karmic debts from Saturn, retrograde planets and the karmic debt numbers 13, 14, 16 and 19
- Your core wound and how it heals, from Chiron
- Your Saturn return dates, the checkpoints of the karmic curriculum
- Where you lived in a past life: a symbolic place, period and your tie to it
The points behind the report
| Point | What it describes |
|---|---|
| South Node | Where you come from: inherited gifts and old comfort zones |
| North Node | Where you are going: the unfamiliar path that brings meaning |
| 12th house | The hidden, the unfinished, what sits behind the curtain |
| Saturn | Lessons that repeat until they are learned; responsibility |
| Retrograde planets | Themes turned inward, often revisited from an earlier time |
| Chiron | The wound that becomes your capacity to help others |
| Pluto and Lilith | Deep transformation, power, and what was suppressed |
Karmic debt numbers
Numerology adds a second layer. When 13, 14, 16 or 19 appear before reduction in the numbers of your name or birth date, they point to an unfinished lesson: 13 hard work and patience, 14 freedom and self-control, 16 ego and humility, 19 independence and asking for help. If none appear, the report says so.
Where you lived in a past life
At the moment of your birth, the South Node passes over certain lines on the Earth, which astrocartography can draw. Ptolemy's ancient table linking lands to zodiac signs adds the regions of your South Node's sign. The report picks a place from these two sources and tells a story about it. This is a symbolic reading, not a historical record; without a birth time, only the sign table is used.

Common questions
Is this report based on my real birth chart?
Yes. The nodes, Saturn, Chiron, Lilith and the 12th house are calculated for your exact birth moment and place, and the karmic numbers come from your name and birth date.
What if I don't know my birth time?
The report still reads the nodes by sign, Saturn, Chiron and the numbers. Houses, the 12th house reading and the astrocartography lines need the time.
Does a karmic debt number mean I did something wrong?
No. It marks a lesson the numbers suggest is unfinished. Many people with karmic debt numbers simply find that area of life takes more conscious effort.
What is the difference between the South and North Node?
The South Node is where you come from: easy, familiar and limiting if you stay there. The North Node, directly opposite, is the direction of growth, which feels unfamiliar but more meaningful.
