Chiron

A small body between Saturn and Uranus, named after the wounded healer of Greek myth, read as the hurt that becomes your capacity to help others.

Chiron

Definition

Chiron (⚷) was discovered in 1977. It orbits between Saturn and Uranus in about 50 years, on an eccentric path, so it spends anything from 2 to 8 years in a sign. In myth, Chiron was a centaur and healer who could not heal his own wound.

Meaning

In a chart Chiron marks a place of sensitivity, often felt early in life, which rarely disappears but becomes a source of wisdom, empathy and the ability to guide others through the same pain. Its house shows the area of life; its sign the flavour.

Chiron return

Around age 50, Chiron returns to its birth position, a time often associated with making peace with old hurts. Chiron is part of the Past Life & Karma report.
