Astrocartography Lines
Forty lines on a world map, four per planet, marking where each planet sat on a chart angle at your birth moment.
The four line types
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ASC (rising) | Self, energy, how you come across |
| DSC (setting) | Partnerships and close relationships |
| MC (zenith) | Career, visibility, reputation |
| IC (nadir) | Home, family, roots |
Planet by planet
| Planet | Near its line |
|---|---|
| Sun | Confidence, recognition, vitality |
| Moon | Emotional ease, home, popularity |
| Venus | Love, beauty, pleasure, money |
| Mars | Drive and competition, also conflict |
| Jupiter | Luck, growth, generosity |
| Saturn | Discipline, hard work, long-term building |
| Uranus, Neptune, Pluto | Change, inspiration or confusion, transformation |
MC and ASC lines are the strongest. Influence fades over a few hundred kilometres. See your own map in Where Should You Live.
