Secondary Progressions
A symbolic timing method where the sky one day after birth describes one year of life, so the chart unfolds slowly as you age.
Definition
In secondary progressions, the positions of the planets 30 days after your birth describe your 30th year. Fast bodies move meaningfully: the progressed Moon travels about 12–15° a year, changing sign every two and a half years; the progressed Sun about 1° a year.
The progressed Moon
Its sign and house describe the emotional climate of a two-to-three-year chapter, and its aspects to natal angles often coincide with events. That makes it one of the key tests in birth time rectification.

Common questions
What is a progressed chart?
Your birth chart moved forward by the "day for a year" rule to your current age.
Do progressions replace transits?
No. Astrologers read both together.
