Kaal Sarp Dosha
When every planet falls on one side of the axis between Rahu and Ketu: read as a life with sharp turns and strong focus.
Definition
Kaal Sarp ("serpent of time") is present when the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn all sit within the half of the chart from Rahu to Ketu (or Ketu to Rahu). Twelve named types depend on the houses Rahu and Ketu occupy.
It is read as intense focus, delays followed by sudden rises, and a sense of being driven. Its effect is debated even among Vedic astrologers, and it does not appear in the oldest classical texts.
