Yogas in Vedic Astrology
Particular combinations of planets that give a talent, strength or tendency. Only the ones that actually form in a chart are listed.
Definition
A yoga ("union") in Jyotish is a specific combination: two planets in the same sign, a planet very strong in a key house, rulers of certain houses linking up. Hundreds are described in classical texts. (Not to be confused with the yoga of the Panchang.)

Common questions
Does having a Raja yoga guarantee success?
No. Yogas show potential; their strength depends on the planets involved and when their dashas run.
How many yogas does a typical chart have?
Most charts form several. Astrool lists only those that genuinely form.
