The oldest runic alphabet: 24 symbols in three families of eight, each a sound, a word and a meaning.

Named after its first six letters (F-U-TH-A-R-K), it was used from about the 2nd to 8th centuries. In divination each rune carries a meaning: Fehu wealth, Raidho journey, Isa standstill, Sowilo success. Some readers add a blank rune. Cast them in runes.
