Astrool Square
A tense aspect that creates friction, inner conflict and the drive to act and grow.
Definition
The planets are 90° apart, usually in signs of the same modality but clashing elements. They want different things at the same time. It is uncomfortable, and it is also where much ambition and achievement comes from: squares push you to act.

In relationships
Squares in synastry create chemistry and argument in roughly equal measure. They feed the friction score in Birth Chart Compare. See Birth Chart Compare.

Common questions
Should I worry about squares in my chart?
No. Squares are engines. Most accomplished people have several; the work is learning to use the tension.
How do I see my aspects?
Astrool lists every aspect in your birth chart with its orb, strongest first.
